इस दीवार पर आपका ब्रांड
उन लोगों का अड्डा जिन्हें
हर गाना ज़ुबानी याद है
Your brand on this wall.
A room that already knows every word.

Theka
The doorbell has gone twice and there is still nothing playing. This page exists for the next ninety seconds of your life.
A party at home has a specific problem that a club does not. There is one speaker, one phone connected to it, and everybody in the room believes they could be doing a better job. So the phone gets passed, somebody queues four songs nobody knows, and the person who owns the flat spends the evening walking back to the kitchen counter instead of talking to anyone. Music for a house party in India is not really a taste problem. It is a staffing problem.
The solve is boring and it works: put on something that runs by itself for four hours, put the device out of reach, and refuse to arbitrate. What plays here is the middle of the road on purpose - Kala Chashma, Aankh Marey, Gallan Goodiyaan, Kar Gayi Chull, Sadi Gali, Dus Bahane, Nashe Si Chadh Gayi. These are not anybody's favourite songs. They are the songs nobody objects to, which in somebody's flat is a much more valuable property.
Volume is the other thing people get wrong at home. A flat has hard surfaces and no acoustic treatment, so anything above conversation level stops being music and becomes a reason to move to the balcony. Keep it under the talking until about eleven, then let it go up when the room has decided it is a party rather than a dinner. The set here is sequenced roughly that way and shuffles wide enough that the same song does not come back inside two hours.
If it is a smaller and later thing - five people, one bottle, nobody dancing - this is the wrong room and talli is the right one, because the mixture is the point at that hour. And if there is a TV in the room, use it. A music video on a wall makes a house party look organised in a way that costs nothing and takes one click.
Bollywood and Punjabi party tracks that everybody half-knows work better at home than anybody's personal favourites: Kala Chashma, Aankh Marey, Gallan Goodiyaan, Sadi Gali, Kar Gayi Chull, Dus Bahane. Keep the volume below conversation until about eleven. Theka, a player themed as an Indian daru bar, plays the whole set nonstop with no account needed.
Pick something that plays continuously without needing a queue refilled, an ad skipped or an account signed into, then physically move the device away from the room. The failure mode at house parties is not bad taste, it is one person spending the evening standing at a phone instead of talking to guests.
Theka, a free player styled as an Indian bar, plays Hindi and Punjabi house party songs back to back in a browser with no account, no app and no ads between tracks, and it keeps going until the tab is closed. Six moods let you change the room across an evening, from background-level early on to full volume later.
